BTB Hosts "Certified Hospitality Department Trainer Workshop"

The Belize Tourism Board in collaboration with the Organization of American States held a Certified Hospitality Department Workshop. The workshop was held at the Radisson Fort George Hotel & Marina from Monday, December 1st to Saturday, December 6th, 2008.

Participants that attended the one week training workshop gained benefits such as the ability to market hotel or restaurant at an internationally certified level as well as enhancing the individual’s image as being professional with its highly trained staff.

The workshop was held for those participating to become internationally recognized Certified Hospitality Department Trainers (CHDT) with certification by the world-renowned American Hotel and Lodging Association Education-Institute (AHLA-EI).

Participating guests included Hotel Operation Managers, Hospitality Trainers, Restaurant Owner/Managers and Department Supervisors.
