BTB Presents Monetary Contribution to BTIA for BETEX 2008

A special presentation was made to the President of the Belize Tourism Industry Association, Mrs. Rosella Zabaneh, on May 15th, 2008 where the Belize Tourism Board was proud to present them with a check in the sum of BZ$25,000.00 as a contribution to the Belize Tourism Expo 2008 (BETEX).

Belize Tourism Expo (BETEX) is a five-day travel industry event taking place in Belize from Wednesday, July 30 (arrivals) through Monday, August 4 (departures). BETEX is open to registered participants only, including international trade attendees, Belize-based suppliers, and press. BETEX is held every two years, and offers an exclusive opportunity for travel trade professionals to meet with local suppliers, learn more about Belize, and experience the destination first-hand. Travel agents and wholesalers can increase profitability through destination education and personal encounters. Local tourism service providers will showcase their products and have a chance to interact personally with international partners.
