The Belize Tourism Board's website has evolved over the years and continues to do so as the market becomes more competitive. It launched its new website layout and redesign of its main travel gateway website – TravelBelize.org on April 22nd, 2009 at the Annual Industry Presentation. Since its launching, the new, modern and dynamic website with upgraded content and images has moved to the top of search engine results for Belize vacation travel search terms on all major search engines.

One new feature added to the website was vacation planning through Travel Deals which was launched on May 8th, 2009. Prominently featured on the home page and throughout the site are a searchable listing of private sector Travel Deals where visitors can search by location, price and interest and then contact the hotels and tour operators directly for reservations and more information.

The information on the Travel Deals includes the name of the property, email address, telephone number, name of the travel deal and occasion, as well as what is included in the package and its cost along with special notes and package details. This service is provided at no cost to private sector by the Belize Tourism Board. Licensed Hotels and Tour operators click here to submit up to 4 travel deals per business.

In addition to the travel deals, all licensed accommodations and tour operators are included in hotel and tour operator directories also on travelbelize.org. For those businesses with booking engine services, links to the booking engine can be included so that users can book online.
