Fashion Magazine Makes Its Way To Belize

Fashion MagazineRani Sheen, Health Editor of Fashion Magazine, visited Belize on a six-day familiarization trip from May 26th-June 1st, 2009. The focus of Ms. Sheen's visit was to experience various health and wellness activities for an article regarding destination trips scheduled for the September issue of Fashion Magazine.

Fashion Magazine, with a circulation of 149,843 per issue, is singularly poised to bring the world of international fashion home to Canadians. With editors and contributors who travel to, and live in the style capitals of the world, they are out there on the front lines of fashion. Each issue of Fashion Magazine has a shopping section filled with everything that Canadian fashion and beauty lovers need to hit the streets. The magazine also introduces readers to the personalities behind Canada's fashion and retail scene as they deliver the best finds in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton.

The first stop on her itinerary was to the western part of Belize where she toured organic gardens and explored the Maya site of Xunantunich. She also had the opportunity to relax in blissful atmospheres as she indulged in spa treatments at two of Belize's spa resorts. The final stop on her itinerary took her offshore to the island of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, where she visited Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley for a day of diving and snorkeling with the nurse sharks and rays. After exploring the waters of Belize with its diverse attractions and natural beauty, she partook in private yoga and meditation sessions.

Belize is filled with diversity and the continued international exposure of our country increases awareness of Belize as a vacation destination awaiting visitors.

Participating private sectors included Ka'ana Boutique Resort, The Lodge at Chaa Creek, Mata Chica Resort, and Ak'Bol Yoga Resort.
