FCCA Assists The Belize City Beautification Project

Representatives of the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) were on hand at the Fort Street Tourism Village on July 9th. where they donated 1,000 gallons of paint to the Ministry of Tourism for use in Belize City beautification projects.

The donation comes as a result of FCCA's commitment to the destinations they call on, by building good working relationships and providing support to the communities in these destinations. 

The Ministry will form a committee comprising of persons from the Belize City Council, the CYDP, and Youth for the Future, to decide how the paint will be deployed for the Belize City beautification projects.

The Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association's mandate is to foster a better understanding of the cruise industry and to develop cooperative relationships with their destination partners at both the public and private sector levels in order to create a win-win situation for all.
