Taste of Belize is the signature culinary event of Belize created by the Belize Tourism Board in an effort to showcase and provide recognition for excellence in the culinary arts, by promoting the food and beverage sector of Belize's tourism industry, and to give incentives to food service providers.
The all-day event brings together participants who compete in categories that include professional chefs, amateur chefs, bartenders, and cake decorators.
Winners are chosen by a panel of distinguished culinary judges.This year's event is a cultural extravaganza filled with games and family activities highlighting Belizean and Caribbean food, music, and dance.
We invite you to join us for our 8th Annual Taste of Belize competition to be held at the Old Belize Adventure, Cultural and Historical Center in Belize City. The scheduled date for the event has been postponed given the present health awareness surrounding the influenza virus H1N1. A new event date to be announced shortly.
