Taste of Belize is the signature culinary event of Belize created by the Belize Tourism Board in an effort to showcase and provide recognition for excellence in the culinary arts, to promote the food and beverage sector of Belize’s tourism industry, and to give incentive to food service providers. The all-day event brings together participants who compete in categories that include professional chefs, amateur chefs, bartenders, and cake decorators. Winners are chosen by a panel of distinguished culinary judges that include international executive chefs. The event is a cultural extravaganza of Belizean and Caribbean food, music, and dance.
