2008 EVENTS & THEME COMPETITION:

The September Celebrations Committee invites all Belizeans to submit recommendations for EVENTS to be included on the official September Celebrations Calendar. All Belizeans, living at home or abroad, are invited to submit recommendations for the theme for this year's September Celebrations commemorating the 210th Anniversary of the Battle of St. George's Caye and the 27th Anniversary of Belize's Independence. The theme should reflect Belize's growth and development as a nation and be no more than 10 words.
